They focused too much on the big map and rpg elements. The fighting and movement is hot garbage, and so is the detection system . All of the base elements that make assassins creed sucked on this game. I'm a huuuge assassins creed fan, I would go so far as to say it's my favorite series but this one was dissappointing.
