A superb film. Poignant, sensitive, moving and disturbing. True, more and more, in troubled times. Salute, Ismat Chughtai and Shama Zaidi. And of course M S Sathyu and the stellar cast. Inquillab Zindabad

For the lovers of pacy comics and graphic novels, this is a classic adventure narrative. The cinematic illustrations of Pellejero and the dark sardonic quirky writing style of Zontner, reminds one of the stylish potboilers of Hollywood set in the 40s and 50s. Punched with an European laconic style. Dieter in a fedora, the roguish loose short tie, the backdrops of Turkey and a Rolls Royce -- you get the drift. Very human storytelling and dramatic illustrations. All here.

As an ex-driller, I was very caught up with the movie and the technicalities of deep water drilling. I have seen blowouts from close quarters to understand how quick and disastrous this can become in no-time. Realistically presented, and quite absorbing.
