The Dragon Prince appeals to a wide variety of audiences conveying genres from medieval fantasies to a comedy-romance. Although The Dragon Prince received a rough introduction, its writers have done a spectacular job in improving the series with each passing season. If you are fan of The Lord of the Ring trilogy or the Dreamworks Dragons: Race to the Edge, then I believe you will find this show just as enjoyable. The Dragon Prince emphasizes multiple themes throughout the series such as parental approval, vengeance, trust, racial tension, and finding one's purpose in life. The characters all face traumatic events and challenges that shape their character arc and provide the motivations behind their actions. You will learn to sympathize with many of the characters as the series progresses and relate to the situations they find themselves in. The two main protagonists Rayla and Callum undergo a multitude of obstacles that defines their character and portrays a sense of familiarity for audience. As of right now The Dragon Prince is yet to be confirmed a 4th season, however, I highly recommend you give this show a try regardless if you are a casual viewer or intend to dissect every portion of its profound yet simple lore. I implore you to watch this show as it is not often that a show of this magnitude appears.
