I watch Rachel every night because I have always found her reporting to be balanced and respectful. However, last night, I was enraged by the cruel use of a young woman's emotional post as a point of derision. Yes, her problem was small, but for most of the world, our problems do seem small when compared to the murder of a black man, the loss of 100,000+ human beings to a heartless plague, and a crumbling government. But our challenges are equally important to us. If you felt that this young woman's post expressing her panic and fear too trivial for your program, why use it? Why lower yourself and your show to the same level of enmity you accuse our leaders of exemplifying every day. I realize you had a guest host, but this is your show and it carries your name. You are responsible to your viewers for its content. I found this to be incredibly cruel and you owe this woman an apology on the air and not on the 19th page! The chaos we all face is too much, and sometimes breaking down over a McDonald's hamburger is our only outlet. Shame on you.
