Finland 4Ever

I don't think that they should be marketing this as a remake of the cartoon because it really has nothing to do with the cartoon and is more like the books. This movie turns totally not British (a damn Aussie shouldn't be playing a Brit) Alice into a knight who fights the jabberwocky. NOTE: A goblin gets his eyes pierced in one scene and Alice walks on floating disembodied heads in a river in another scene.

The story itself is cool but I am too distracted by the whole Medieval France but not Medieval France thing with some costumes being modern outfits trying to evoke medieval Europe to varying degrees of success (Ella's main drsss is okay, the stepsisters are an absolute failure), blatant modern outfits (Ella's short wedding dress and ballgown, Fairy Godmother's sexy getup, the prince's suit) and the weddong scene where they do a modern dance and everyone except Ella and the Prince are gypsies....
