Meh. Base level entertaining but, as others have mentioned, features numerous outdated gender and racial stereotypes and cliches that are reminiscent of an early 2000s romcom. Despite having a seemingly successful career and loving family, the lead female is considered sad and pathetic because she isn’t married. The lead male is considered desirable and decidedly unattainable by the lead female despite being an egocentric womanizer. Conversely, a kind and intelligent neighbor is considered ineligible because he demonstrates a willingness to date the lead and a love for children (?)
The leads play their characters well- unfortunately both are very annoying and it is hard to care about the trajectory of their relationship. Some jokes were extremely crude and off putting, completely ruining what could have been a mediocre but watchable movie. I got halfway through and turned it off.
