A classic story very well done. An excellent cast, well paced , great scenery, well directed. I saw the version with Gerard Depradieu, which I recall was a mini series in French. I enjoyed it even though I’m not a fan of sub titles. All in all, I liked this movie,I’ve seen it several times.
