To be generous in my reception and opinion, I say 4.5/5 or 9.5/10 if fun family comedy and Christian movies are your cup of tea. Watchable if you got nothing else to do. If you look close enough with your literary analysis’ thinking caps on (especially with few references of context and symbolism) plus well developed characters, it’s an overall decent movie with a great moral and message. It could be one of the best social critiques on how simple cinematography can be watchable. Summer nostalgia for Bible camps is strong with this one.
