It didn't work for me. Yeah, I know..."the acting!", but it seemed like a bunch of cut-scenes. I wanted a movie in the traditional sense.

I'm giving it 4 stars for watchabiliity. It's different, well acted, and moves right along.

Man I like everyone involved and kind of thought I knew what I'd be getting and I was okay with that. To me and my wife it really just was not good.

These movies are usually good at best, stupid at worst. With the disparity of stars I figured this to be somewhere in the middle. I was even told by a co-worker it wasn't good, but you have to see it to wrap it up. I can't believe it but it was great! It had great story and I thought it wrapped it up very well. Again, I thought this was a great movie and not even great for a Halloween movie, but just...great!

So I loved his other two movies a lot. This was kind of a mess. It's weird to say but it was enjoyable to watch but disappointing when it was over.

Five stars for watchability. I mean, the ratings are across the board here so I wondered where I would land. My wife and I looked at each other halfway through and said "This is great, I can't believe it."

One of the reviews said "A must-see for horror fans." I watched it and it was. A gem for sure.

I put this movie off forever because the reviews are iffy. We finally rented it last night and it was great. I like both actors, it moved right along, had a creepy vibe, weird things happened that came to fruition, and it ended really well. When it was over we looked at each other and said "Wow...great movie!"

Half five stars, half one. Which one am I going to be, I wondered when I read the reviews. I think the first one where the lady absolutely adored this film grabbed me. I thought maybe the one stars were the people wanting a dystopian action movie and this maybe had a little more depth. So we watched it. It wasn't good.
