Emperor's New Clothes, in my opinion! The subject matter is interesting, timely and relevant, but I don't see any advantage in the technique that was used. Digital technology makes low-cost production available to virtually anyone who wants to make a movie these days, so what good reason, other than just being perverse, is there for using home-processed 16mm black and white film and a clockwork camera? Only if the technique adds something to the message being delivered, and in this case, I don't think it does.
