Tales Of That Pashmina Girl

This novel did go beyond my expectations from a debut novel in the thriller genre. Right from the starting pages ... my interest got captivated in the flowy narrative and edgy character sketches. The main protagonists Prabha ,Sneha,Jai and even Gerard are well etched, somewhat relatable along with their entangled lives ..the drama begins when Sneha , the historian friend goes missing and it all connects suspiciously to idol thefts around that time! And then the group begins investigation of the case. While the plot develops on mystery and takes twists and turns, some emotional moments heighten the relatability of the story. Not a boring moment throughout and the apt details of the Chola period heightens its storyline! Climax is well etched too! I recommend this one for a definite read!
