Great, lavish, well-acted series for a soap opera, much like American musicals of the 1950s...Roxelana played by German-Turkish, or Turkish-German actress totally captivating...too bad it was never finished--i.e., last episode I saw had her holding poison that she had to either take herself or give to her erstwhile childhood sweetheart, bawling. Not the place to end series, since we know her actual history as the Ottoman's greatest, long-lived queen consort!
