I’m finding it hard to believe it scored so well with the Academy. Mikey Madison was terrific, but the movie lacked a cohesive storyline. Long, boring and immature.

OK, I'm in the dark. I didn't get this movie at all. Cleo, while a sweet, loving character, in my opinion should not have been nominated for an Oscar. And for BEST PICTURE? What am I missing? It was a good story--but no revelations, nothing over the top, mostly saturated with a lot of screaming children and noise in general. Is that the point? That there's a lot of chaos in Mexico? I've been to Mexico, I know there are many poor regions. Did this movie show anything we didn't already know? Hate to be critical, but this movie was a zero for me.
