IMHO it's simple, To Your Eternity is a frikin AMAZING anime. It feels alot like literary art because of the high attention to details, perfect timing on key events (the specific moment I'm thinking of happened at the end of an episode and it had me jump out of my seat to give an audible wow!), captivating script, perfect plot mystery, great animation and music. All that and more add up to one of the most emotionally heart warming and wrenching rollercoaster of a ride I've personally ever felt. To put into perspective, I watch a good amount of anime and the emotional masterpiece of To Your Eternity is on par (emotionally wise) with Gurren Lagann. TLDR:>) WATCH IT!!! give it at least the first episode.
