Both Jaoquin Pheonix and Lady Gaga deliver excellent performances here, despite the poor material they were given. The lack of a character arc for Harley Quinn's character is film's biggest let down. Most of the musical sequences felt out of place and pointless. All in all, Joker: Folie à Deux is a dissapointing and unnecessary sequel.

Pryor delivered some stellar stand-up specials throughout his career, some of which include Here and Now and Live at the Sunset Strip. However, Live In Concert is in my opinion, where he cemented his legacy as the greatest comedian of all time. Some comics are great at physical comedy, some at social commentary. Some are great with observational humour, some can improvise brilliantly. Pryor could do it all and does so in this masterclass. With brutal honesty and a fearlessness unmatched, Pryor blows the roof off the building, leaving the audience in hysterics throughout, in what I consider to be the greatest stand-up special of all time.

An enjoyable watch, though Armageddon doesn't quite live up to his previous specials. Like Chappelle's latest, Ricky rehases old material here with familiar jokes, some of which fall flat this time around.

Despite a few chuckles here and there, The Dreamer is nothing compared to some of Chappelle's previous work. I consider Sticks & Stones to be one of the great modern specials. In his latest however, he rehashes old jokes that fall flat, adding little to these topics. It felt lazy and like he was fulfilling Netflix obligations for which he lacked new material.

The word masterpiece is thrown around too often these days and because of that, I'm often reluctant to use it. Not in this case, however as the wildly addictive Blue Eye Samurai is genuinely a masterfully crafted series. The writing is top notch and wonderfully executed. Its multi-layered characters, mature pacing and attention to detail throughout make this a must watch. I could not recommend this epic, country spanning story of betrayal and revenge more highly.

Recency bias aside, I do believe this is the best Batman film made so far. Upon a second viewing, I enjoyed it even more. Matt Reeves, unlike any other director before him has captured the essence of Gotham beautifully. Robert Pattinson delivers and then some. Everything from the music, the casting, the tone and the cinematography was spot on. This film has set a new standard for Batman films going forward.
