Mickey Fester

A pretty fun series overall and a great new addition to the Star Wars universe. It's just a fun ride through a part of the universe that you never really get to see in the movies themselves, where the stakes are not world-ending and the characters are not all space wizards. I will say it has glaring faults that keep it from greatness. The show has some of the absolute worst gunfight choreography I've ever seen, particularly in the final episode. The characters all suffer from an extreme case of PLOT ARMOUR as well, including Mando himself, and this is never more evident than the aforementioned final episode. And speaking of... *SPOILERS AHEAD* The ending is unbelievably rushed and convoluted. The way everything ties up in a neat little bow is so incredibly unsatisfying and actually somewhat soured the entirety of the series for me. The journey was definitely the best part of the experience, in my opinion, and the ending made me wary of continuing onto season 2. The show is great for what it is though, and I would recommend giving it a watch.
