As a retired RN have been a GA fan forever and love that the writers include everyday issues and work very hard at creating an authentic hospital environment, including both the medical and complicated interpersonal relationships between staff. So I understand the inclusion of COVID in the season premiere but very surprising to myself my reaction wasn’t a positive one. On the contrary, i was looking forward to diving into an hour or two of fantasy to try and get away from the realities of 2020. Seriously we all need a little bit of a break from the News, CDC, etc. we are all so aware and right now and a break from the sadness from Covid to social injustice.

Mark Rufallo is outstanding!!! He pulls you into the story and your heart bleeds for both brothers with their own demons. Rosie O’Donnell was also so good! She was perfect as the social worker.

Didn’t like Adam Sandler but thought after seeing the trailer I could like him....nope!! Not now not ever and couldn’t stand the screaming and bickering even though the critics liked it. I walked out after 40 minutes.
