If you're not sure, do yourself a favor and go see it. Much more than the trailer presents, not just martial arts, not just sci-fi... it's really greater than the sum of it's parts. It's one of those movies that you'll keep thinking about.

Mostly boring. I kept waiting for the "big reveal", the twist at the end of the story that would reward the viewer's willful suspension of disbelief. Something to explain the moon pirates, the crazed homicidal space baboons, and why our hero was suddenly "unfit for duty" after attempting to contact Daddy from Mars Radio Station 1. Nope. These promising side plots die as soon as they're born; just filler to tickle the eyes and ears of the popcorn-munching-masses who patiently await something, ANYTHING, to happen in this movie to keep them interested.

It's a slow movie that doesn't seem to go anywhere.

Meh. Not as good as we'd hoped.

Pretty boring movie. I fell asleep twice. It's 3 hours long and I do mean long. The main character vacillates between irritating and boring. Have I mentioned boring? Yep, do yourself a favor and stay home. You'll have a more entertaining time clipping your toenails. Very disappointing.
