Interesting fun little story of the royal visit to Downton. A good mix of political, fun and history. Lovely costumes and beautiful cinematography especially the sweeping scenes around the abbey. Good to see loose ends tied up as well as it being left open for future films or series if ever it was revived again in the future. I would have liked even more caustic comments from the 2 elder ladies. The scene with Lady Mary and Granny was beautiful as was the contrasting embarrassing fun of Mr Molesley making a show of himself to the King and Queen. I went on my own to watch it and I thoroughly enjoyed it as a little guilty pleasure, it made me smile, laugh and cry
