I am no critic but I still love Sixth Sense. He's other movies - were so so. This movie made me appreciate M. Night Shyamalan's works again, especially after hearing how he thought of this movies as he was getting older. I see that he comes up with his movies as he realizes different milestones and perspectives related to his age. From Sixth Sense with the child who sees Dead People (his earlier, younger works) -> to the Happening and the Village (perhaps his views on Climate Change and regarding a Person's deep beliefs) -> the Breakable Saga (superheroism of parent to his/her children).
Now with OLD, we can see how fleeting life can be and the twist he puts in to the movie gives it a great spin to offset the basic motif of aging.
Good job M. Night Shyamalan.
