Holy sh word i used to look down on this series until i actually watched it and it was so good. For all the prejudice it gets for exhibit a: it's animation style, exhibit b: the overarching weirdness, and exhibit c: it's lack of "main-streamness", it's actually such a great series. The first issue, the style grows on you. The second problem, it's actually very enjoyable with it's context. The 3rd debate, most of today's most golden shows are actually either long-running/oldish or hidden. Another example of the oldish gold is Fullmetal alchemist Brotherhood, the remake is only 11 years old and the only reason i can think of as to why it's not more popular is because of it's somewhat lacking art style. Otherwise, i think that the little hype it got when it came out was not all it deserved. If you're looking to watch Jojo, power through the first season, the second part is miles better, but whatever you do don't skip the season. You'll appreciate the rest of the series infinitely more if you finish it. So be patient, young traveller.
