I watched the entirety of the show. Let me be honest. It started off as great, but eventually goes downhill. Jane's character was so likeable in beginning then by the end they made him extremely annoying. Lisbon is the head of the unit but 90% of the time she just stands there dumbfounded, letting Jane solve everything by himself. Van Pelt was a strong addition but they could've make her more powerful tech wise. Rigsby & Cho, they are fine.
Actors did an amazing job- 10/10. All of them.
Its the writers who made it flop.
Red John's reveal was so underwhelming I can just scream. What was it even? I was like "thats it?". There's no backstory, Flashbacks to scenes from a different perspective so we can see how Red John did certain things etc.
The whole FBI season was a mess. I dont think its clever to break up a group of characters who were together for 6 seasons. People already love them as a whole, as a group. They tried to replace Van Pelt with that tech guy, and by adding Kim Fisher. But it wasn't feeling the same without the original cast.
My honest opinion is its a good show, but the big "Red John" reveal was very anticlimactic. They could've done better with the plot, and finish it off right after the reveal. The FBI-streach was not it.
P.S. I can't believe Jane & Lisbon marrying lol they have a very good chemistry as friends, but not lovers. Kind of wish they found different partners for each other and remain as best friends. If you want a suggestion- Jane and the physichic lady, and Lisbon with that Rich guy who does silly stuff and crushing on Lisbon.

Look, I love Mel a lot as she has helped me to learn and grow so much in many aspects in of my life. However I do agree with some people in the reviews- this topic is too simple and short for a lengthy book. It’s simply about acting impulsively within 5 seconds before your brain start to change the decision. The book is very repetitive and a collection of anecdotal content. More suitable or a podcast or a small speech in my opinion, probably not for a book. However I did enjoy reading cause it’s Mel anyway.
