Having just gone thru 53 episodes of “Designated Survivor” , I do not see how this series compares . The star played by Keri Russell is anything but a diplomat . Seems like a counselor would assign her to an anger management program. Seems w today’s technology the origin of a missile attack can be traced. Am bored with constant anger of the star character for no seeming reason And half way thru episode 4 , am dropping out. Hopefully the Brits or the Americans will find out who attacked the British ship.

Watched first two episodes on large screen tv 1) Female actors look alike 2) Screen too dark 90% of the time. 3) Time warps confusing putting the CIA agent ad the wife of the plastic surgeon. Had to throw on the biracial school bullying as gratuitous. 4) Same old Sheridan depiction of the female - feisty despite getting beaten up stereotype 5) Turned off the series in the middle of episode three with the bikini clad come on for the male viewers . Just got too predictable and boring to keep my attention.

Love the rainforest scenery of the Pacific Northwest whether US or Canada. Plot and acting are formula as are the Liam Neeson B flics . One formula is replacing a male with special powers with a female with special powers from previous federal training. Like Janney for Neeson and the switch in Equalizer . Not to mention Matlock. The bodies in Lou are swept aside . Especially the bearded guy who liked the mother and child killed in his truck and his corpse witnessed by the mother How the dog reached Janney by the sheriff would be understandable were he on a truck but he got to her with a quad which she took off with. A catahula on a quad? I liked the ferns , doug firs and rain as well as rock outcroppings The rest was BS.

Realistic portrayal but constant whispering makes it hard to understand for an 86 year old despite augmented aids.
