Loved it. Binge-watched. So much intertwining of characters in different timelines, real life and book life, that it’s absolute fun trying to tease it out, especially with actors playing dual roles with non-equivalent characters. You might just work out all the whodunits and not be certain because of all the red herrings. Maybe not necessarily as challenging as some would like and I might usually agree. But I found this to be a refreshing change from blood, guts and bad language. Then there’s the added layers of Susan’s personal and professional life. Love Lesley Manville, the costumes, set designs and the locations. Well worth it.

Oh dear. Not a great script and plot holes you could drive a truck through, but hey, we watched through to the end.
