Overall it was an engaging and fun experience, and especially with so many hours of content I think it's worth picking up. It had negatives and positives for me though.
Positives
- expansive year-long narrative with rewarding progression
- fun time-management system with lots of options
- large cast of characters that will have at least a few you really connect with, and rewarding social system both mechanically and narratively
- rewarding upgrades and leveling, especially with creating new personas
- great, creative art and character designs
Negatives
- the dialogue and morals often seemed corny and heavy-handed to me, where the villains will all just literally state how evil they are without nuance. I also thought the main characters were self-righteous sometimes. This affected my enjoyment of the narrative
- some of the dating system and fanservice had creepy undertones
- combat can become repetitive, encountering the same enemies and exploiting the same weaknesses throughout areas
- save system that's easy to forget, losing hours of progress
