If I stowed my religious beliefs about sin and repentance, the show was easier to swallow. I have this same problem with others show that skirt the sin and repentance belief. That being said, I got very much into the series. True the CGI left much to be desired, but the acting/dubbed voiceovers were excellent and made up for it. The gore and violence was brutal and staged masterfully. Yes, it scared me more than I would care to admit. I gave the show 5 stars after only watching the first 4 episodes because I thought the concept was very interesting and intriguing if not totally original. I say it’s definitely worth a look for those on the fence thinking of watching. To be honest, I could stop watching at any time and feel I got my money’s worth out Netflix. Any show that makes you think about examine or re-examine your own religious beliefs, or lack thereof is good.
