I really liked this movies, it was good, the actors were amazing. As a woman, this movie also gave me so much nostalgia with my own coming of age and my own femininity. I understand how it felt, to grow up as a girl in a conservative catholic family and having to meet their expectations while also trying to fit in in school. The movie is suppose to shock you with these sceens to force you to think about what kids go through to fit in anywhere. This movie, I feel, was made for women by a woman who wrote this movie based off her own personal experience growing up in france. I recommend watching the whole movie before judging it based on what others say or what others hate about it.
