Appallingly filled with banality and stereotypical horror tropes. Poor script, poor acting...at first, I thought how much the lead sounds like his Dad... Mick Jagger...this, as it happens, was the only real interesting point of the entire film. They made every single mistake that you COULD see coming. The couple's exchanges were so off-putting I got angry half way through at knowing that I'd paid way too much money for a film that belongs in a $2 bin. Bought it on Google Play. The film is so poor that it's given me pause to think about buying from that company again...EVER. Everything EVERYTHING was just so creatively impoverished I'm getting angry even thinking about how the 74% rotten tomatoes score compares with REALITY. I think someone's fiddling with the numbers to get us suckers to buy because I can't believe that there's SO MANY remedial people making a ham roast from a sow's ear. The acting was so consumately poor and not even the few attempts at a jump scare paid off. I see many positive reviews. Sign of the times. Folks aren't as bright as they used to be. All the good reviews conned me into thinking it would be good. I won't be paying much attention to film reviews again. No. Not after this particular cinematic shambles.

Jared Leto. My review, apparently, must have at least 30 characters so...it appears this review is as big a waste of my time as buying another film starring Jared Leto.

I enjoyed World War Z from Saber because the gameplay is awesome with AI. I don't play multiplayer or co-op at all...am exclusively single player and offline if I can get it. Too old for friends and playing with randos online. Bought this as pre-order and figured because it's from Saber it'd be like WWZ. Anyway....this is not the case. I LOVE the Evil Dead franchise and especially anything to do with Bruce Campbell. So WONDERFUL the great man is voicing Ash on this one last time. I'll obviously keep this and it'll most probably and very quickly end up collecting dust on the shelf where my unplayable mistake purchases go to die. I imagine it'll be going very cheap very soon so I'm recommending a prospective buyer WAIT until it's in the bargain bin. It's a collectable I guess, but, like so many other exclusively online and multiplayer games, it will end up being totally useless in a few years when they pull the plug on the online platform. There IS a single player element but no levelling up, very limited...and short. As a collector, this game will satisfy my addiction to collect but as far as gaming is concerned, this one looks great but is a huge disappointment. Won't be buying DLC either. They got almost 60 bucks out of me with the pre-order so they won't be getting anymore...THATS for sure. I certainly won't be wasting money on Saber games again. They've done the franchise and it's fans a great disservice as far as I'm concerned...others may pop poo this opinion but hey, everybody's got one and so...this is mine.

I'm loving it so far. Great graphics and easy to manoeuvre through the air.

In chronological order, these films get more brutally addictive.

Graphics are wonderful. Love how crew salute...attention to small details and the game is really immersive. I'm going to play all three in the trilogy.

I couldn't get past the loudly squealing females, it's like fingernails down a blackboard...screaming, squealing, hyperventilating...no thanks...took away from ANY enjoyment that may have been had.

James Caan, great actor. Underutilized here. How sad, that an actor of his calibre is reduced and surrounded by the usual, cliches, Hollywood belly button lint. Had promise, this film. Failed so miserably that this film left me feeling as though I'd actually wasted my time in watching it. Poor show...Poor direction, bad editing, cliched script...unconvincing...and the ending is just appalling.

This film is the one which convinced me that Joaquin is both masterful and genius. His commitment to art, from this point on, is beyond reproach or question. Im still astounded by his consumate skill.

i dont know how or why ive missed seeing this 1997 masterpiece of film making...its slow burn winds into an open mind and stays there, im sure it will, for the duration of my lifetime...Eraserhead, Wild at Heart, Blue Velvet, and now...Lost Highway...are such strange, memorable, phenomenally crafted works of apex art and now i savour this new find...and for another moment...i feel alive...feel...good...to be alive.
