Superb fights, songs. It has everything, love, humour, suspense. The camera moves fluidly. Director Uggina shows great promise. The lead pair have a nice chemistry, and you can see both their careers taking off from here. Pakka Kannadigas too. You have to watch this in a theatre, because the sound, especially in the bass beat in songs, is fantastic. Even minor characters are etched well. For example, the hero's father. Only after this film have I realised I have seen him in a dozen films, but still never knew his name. Manjunath Hegde. Here a scene where he is ferrying his drunk son on a bike brought tears to my eyes. But the next moment both have you laughing. It's a real roller-coaster ride.
