Cute kids show but fail to capture the beauty of other Ghibli movies. The story is overly simplistic.The ending is extremely disappointing where audience is left on cliffhanger and we still have no idea about Earwig (who are her parents, where did she come from).
Basically the movie is highly unsatisfying with plenty of unanswered questions and hardly any backstory on the characters.
