Let's forget about The Acolyte as soon as possible and if you haven't watched it yet: don't. Apalling storyline with loads of illogical twists and turns, complete demystification of the jedi and and ill treatment of their values (I have never seen so much naive and superficial reasoning and decision making), even more demystification of the dark side, unsolved questions and questionable course of actions, no idea why witches should exist and be a threat to jedi, not the slightest idea why (SPOILER ALERT) a (stupid) helmet should ban manipulative thoughts etc. I loved the little droid, though.

Some 12 years after its release in my country I watched all BSG episodes again. I am still impressed, I was still moved, the music and vivid tension of the series' climax once again lingered in my thoughts for days. Within those 12 years we had several other good scifi or scifi-like competitors, though: Star Trek Discovery, The expanse, Altered Carbon, Dark etc. Good stuff, but none as powerful, moving, multi-layered, versatile and human as BSG. Moreover, none of the various themes embedded in BSG have lost their relevance. Well done, so well done.

Visually stunning. It's a real treat to explore all sceneries, find out more about the ancient cultures and enhance one's swimming, diving and climbing skills. Tombs and crypts have been very well worked out and the story is very much okay. I also like the stealth mode, you don't always want to blast your way through your opponents. Much care has been taken for the music as well. But, yeah, there are a few drawbacks: by playing the game+ and the dlc's you gather all kinds of extra gear but it's to no use, because villains don't respawn as they do in the two previous TR-games. Second, the dlc's are not fully integrated in the game, most of them just close up once you have finished them and so do the storylines that take you to them. Third, it's nice that you have to learn the 'language' of the monoliths, but you don't really need them to find rewards. This could be more challenging. But finally, I very much hope we haven't seen the last TR game!
