The show itself is ok. All by numbers as usual but ok. The dialogue however is pretty awful.

Yeah, it's OK, pretty good actually. I think some reviews have somewhat overanalysed. It's a decent, well produced action/comedy, not a documentary!
As a sidenote, if anyone remembers Dempsey And Makepeace, you will get flashbacks!
