The show has heartwarming and loving characters, plotline and development. As someone who played badminton it reminded me of the good times with teammates and the fun of the sport. It entails that we can become better. The 1 star is for the racial depictions that people mention in episode 5 as I wholeheartedly agree that the writers should have done a better job in regards to that. However, it should not justify the quality of the show as a whole, as the writers should apologise and work on the issue, but the audience shouldn't condone the show entirely.

The movie was unexpectedly good. I can say it wasn't your typical all kick-butt movie. It was a combination of not just action but evidently well-thought character development especially the main, and an emotionally compelling storyline. It incorporated historically realistic racism that will have you cry throughout the movie and pray for a happy ending. I for one was a red-nosed crybaby by the end.
