“It’s realistic and painful that’s why I like it.” Sir Naldo
The movie Five Feet Apart was really great to the extent that it made my tears rolled on my cheeks for several times.
At first, I thought it is like one of the movies which I wanted to skip the boring minutes but I was wrong. I was really surprised with the plot (maybe that’s what you get when you didn’t try previewing lols). The characters were fantastic.
The life’s lesson that we should learn from this movie is to live with ardent hope and faith. It is life’s reality that we all die, but we should not see it as an end for us not to do whatever we want to achieve in life. When we are terminally ill, just like the characters, we should grasp to even a little hope that we have inside our hearts because no one could tell how God’s miracle works for it just happpens mysteriously.
The movie reminds us not to lose hope but to follow the tiniest dot of light and it will surely radiant inside of our soul.
I also like the character of the leading man because his love is selfless. Love sometimes isn’t really about holding on but also letting go. He let go of the girl because it is the right thing to do. He is sacrifing his love because he knowa it would be worth it to see the girl living and starting a new life- a cf free life. And he doesn’t want to waste it because of love. Because if he did, it is never love. In the first place, real love never harms nor hurts. Love gives hopes and chances.
