All I wanted is the happy ending all of these lovely characters deserve
But all in all, this is such a good movie, with each scenes that seem little and irrelevant, but always reveal a little bit of each character's life stories, and in the end you gonna piece them up one by one to see the whole story, and to understand the tears the 'mother figure' cried in the end.
Every single one of them are flawed, but aren't that just what human are? The way the media and the police paint them is so heartbreaking, because the viewers know what really happened. It is hard to watch how perceptions of an individual affects the judgement towards them. The woman that was deemed problematic and disastrous turns up to be a loving mother; but the woman who is well-married, who is the norms of what a mother should be like, turns up to an abusive, despicable mother.
'Shoplifters' is the kind of movie that closely portrait the real world.
In the end we are left feeling frustrated, teared down, hopeless but with a little more insight to our human nature.
