I really liked it; never thought I'd fall in love with an octopus, but in this case I did. Unfortunately I have to confess, I share another's observation about "What's up with this guy?" Clearly a very sensitive, intelligent man, yet I wonder why the story teller/director goes out of her way to make him look so weak (you can be intelligent and sensitive without being weak, ie Gandhi, Jesus etc.). The extended shots of him sitting looking helpless, almost like a victim for example. Second, I can understand the 'not interfering with nature line,' but it does seem a little egocentric to think that helping a single octopus in the Atlantic Ocean is going to throw the system out of kilter. If you care about something, and there is no great consequence to be had, you help it. Otherwise it's hard to believe you really care about it; or, there is something else going on. Nevertheless, the closeups, beautiful photography and editing are exceptional. And, we really can't help but fall in love with this wonderful little creature who just steels our hearts.
