Winston Conrad created a combination of topics in this one book. It was the real Hawaii. Hawaii's beauty along with its warts. It was history, traditions, fishing, surfing. Through the book it showed Wiinston to be curious about life, people who's path crossed his he took an interest. It was about love of his family and the challenges they faced restoring their Hawaii home. He was a man that liked adventure and believed in following your dream to see where it takes you. He was not a man that will look back on life and think "what if".
It was a joy to read this book.
