The original Ghostbusters (1984) was the first film i watched when i moved to Indiana as a freshman in High school. I knew no one , i walked to the theater and watched it aloan. I will never forget how this movie made me feel. The special effects and humor made for a great experience. Afterlife did not disappoint. Sharing this experience with my daughters ( about the same age when I experienced the original) was fantastic. The film did a great job at paying homage to the original. Predictable in spots , but a fun time. Afterlife is the film I have been waiting 30+ years for. I can't wait for what is in store for this franchise.
