Not sure what the writers or producers were smoking but this shows makes no sense. Freshman in high school solving murders, spending the weekend at the cabin drinking and having sex with their parents permission. There’s only one sheriff in town and no other cops at all. In one scene the richest person in town is using a rotary phone from 1900 the next someone else is using a macbook or iPhone. How do you have someone on trial for murder but then let them go home for the holiday weekend to enjoy with their friends? How are freshmen kids able to get a room at five seasons and alcohol? The hospital looks like it set in the 50’s. Let’s not forget when the main guy saves the mean girl, destroys his hand and then gets on stage for the talent show and plays his guitar. None of it makes sense but it is funny.
