I honestly think this film is a decent Star Wars movie. It didn’t have the plot of the Force Awakens, nor did it have that original feel to it like A New Hope or Empire Strikes Back. It didn’t have the greatness like Return of the Jedi, nor did it have much darkness like in Revenge of the Sith. Yet I still enjoyed watching the movie in the cinemas. 3/5

Dead Men Tell No Tales is one of those movies where you notice the bad parts after you have finished it. I personally didn’t really like how Captain Jack Sparrow acted and displayed himself. He didn’t have enough charm as the one in Curse of the Black Pearl. He didn’t have the amazingness of him in Dead Man’s Chest or even in At World’s End. Aside from that, I personally found this movie great. I loved the plot and the urgency and the stakes, and I think that Salazar is a definite step up from Blackbeard in the last movie. All in all I will rate this movie 4 stars.
