Although I can't find the relation from the first movie (SB&LG), this movie was not made for me, or for anybody who saw the first movie. It was made for kids l. That's why it was goofy, there were some plot holes and such. It is really goofy, nonsensical in some parts, but it retains the innocence of children. Watching Guppy (or whatever her name was, can't remember) on-screen was both cringy, but charming and adorable. It is a movie made to be watched in family, and as such will be enjoyable if you do it that way. I'll be honest, I didn't expect the plot twist, but it actually got me, and it actually fixed some problems that the movie had at first. It's good to see this feel-good movie about kids having fun after hearing and reading the scandal about that french movie. Enjoy this dumb, but healthy movie!
