This book deeply affected me as a school counselor and mental health care advocate. I live by the code...See Something, Say Something/Do something. Do not put off reporting today, what impacts a child's tomorrow. This is a read that tugs at the consciousness of us all. We are ALL characters in this book... school personnel, church members, neighbors, family, friends, and non-custodial parents who may have at one time or another thought ... "something is not quite right" but stayed out of "family business." For the sake of all the Monday's out there, follow your instincts, you are probably right. See Something, Say Something /Do something... this way you will not live with the guilt of inaction.
