enough suspense and i LOVE the main character, she is strong and smart even after all of her tormented past, very thrilling read. Definitely a page turner. Not recommended for teens who's not ready to read lot of cursing and sex stuff. But the plot is really new and fun.

This was a good experience consider the author's take on building up tensions and the characters. There are a lot of really good descriptions and we can understand what the main character Katie is feeling really throughly. One thing I thought the author could improve though is to be more obvious when thee time setting changes, because a lot of times i have to read several sections multiple times to realize whether the setting was in the past/ Katie's memories or the present. But other than that I think the book was good. It could've been better but definitely a page turner, stayed up late to finish the book.

This might be my favourite book EVER, did not like the movie adaptation as much as the original book though.

It was life-changing. I read it through like 2 times to actually understand it. All the metaphors in the book was very clever. The way that the author delivers the book was very touching. Loved the experience, but also it felt stressful to read. (which probably is a good thing for this novel)
