The cliches, the bad acting, the horrible dialogue...where to begin. The lead male actor (who I'm shocked so many people adore) was incredibly unlikable. He's so blindly fueled by his love for this woman who was a fraud that he pays no heed to the damage does to others. Not to mention he may as well put a sign on his back saying, "Hey, arrest me! Yup, I'm the psycho running around killing everyone." For someone supposedly former special ops he has the sublety of a rabid bear in a petting zoo. I just want it to end.

More like 2.5. Weird, but not really in a good way. There was a lot of (unfair) negative focus on homeschooling, when there were clearly much larger issues at play, like a total lack of socialization. Not to mention the anti-capitalism and anti-Christian themes. It all made it very hard to cheer for the dad. The whole effect was just, eh, so that's over.
