No TV series is perfect. Arrow started great but it's impossible to stay consistently amazing after half a decade on the air. In the moment, there were definitely feelings of dissatisfaction. I myself wasn't really a fan of Bachelor-playboy badass archer becoming happy smiley family man. But this show kickstarted something amazing, and taking a step back and looking at it, it really has been a great show. It's presence will be sorely missed. (And anyways, lore has always portrayed Arrow to be a jovial cheery archer so my personal gripe was just coming to terms with the change in tone, but I think 5 years down the line I might find my old blu-rays of Arrow and definitely feel like going back for a good ol rewatch.)
