Best koontz book so far even a little better than lighting so far. How is this a 3.9 people are ridiculous. This book should be like a 4.8. A few things might have been left our but no book is perfect. I'm reading moby dick and this made me more emotional. I have a book hangover over from this after a week still no books make me cry buy this one did that says something. Slim Mckenzie is now my favorite koontz character I wish they made another book with him and Rya.

Spoiler I wish they told about what was found kn the locker and what was the killers motive and what ? He actually didn't kill anyone the end was rushed but overall alot of great detail and character development. It took a while to get into the characters and know who was who but then it go interesting good mystery and good detail about the submarine I learned some stuff.

I never finished reading the whole book but it's already my favorite book ever I probably read 70 percent of it some years ago. And the animates film is my favorite animated film of all time. I gonna read the book from the beginning again soon. I have had the audios cds for years just didn't get around to listening I will soon
