A tv show that's very, very loosely based on one of the best sfi fi novels ever.
In some ways it's quite sad given competent writers that truly cared about the source material could have done so much more. Agreed it's very hard to cover the source material, but changing sex of prominent characters just to fit an agenda is a distraction that doesn't benefit anyone.
The production value is great. Acting competent. Dialog at times subpar. It's worth watching as long as you leave expectations in check.

An enjoyable book. Good characters, moves along slow at times, but has decent suspense for a thriller to keep you going. Some of the plot is predictable, most is original and interesting.
Like many others commented, the politics / liberal slant doesn't add to the story. It's not a big part of the story, but it has no place in it (please move on from trump, your best work didn't have this much overtones of politics).
I did enjoy the shining reference. Can see this book as a decent screenplay.

First movie to see in a theater since the pandemic, which gave it an extra star for me. It's hilariously frustrating at times, non sensical at others, violent throughout (which I don't mind had it been better written). Started out very promising and guess writers were replaced or got tired. Russell Crow is a natural psycho
