British period series are a class of their own, and peaky blinders are the headmistress of that class. You get story, you get every emotion, action and reaction as a viewer. But there's a lot to take away as well, because every character has a development in the existing 5 seasons. As for the more curious film toads, we get to see the art that Steven knight has woven, it's unmistakably an anti-hero series, one only wants to know how he build up all this into a plot and a ongoing piece of art. Actors are outstanding in what they do, almost it's everyone's highlight of their careers, I must say. It's delightful in a wicked way where a man with affinity to violence, carries out good deeds in bad manner to a good end.
