I have a suggestion for adult 101 with your kids. I taught school 37 years and I'm a grandmother of 6 who live in different places.
Most children have no real idea about money but they are hearing a lot right now about how the economy has been effected by the virus. Create your family economy. Either buy or print fake money or make a check book register. Every time the child does something that is productive like brush their teeth, do their math assignment, clean the tub: give them some money. Make sure they know how much each is worth.Likewise charge them for things that aren't free: every meal, a dessert, watching a movie on TV (popcorn is extra), playing a game because it uses electricity or batteries. Be creative. Make sure you make prices so some days they are struggling to make ends meet. They might learn a valuable lesson!
