No idea where these bad reviews are coming from but my guess is probably China trolls trying to punish anything that promotes something other than communist China. The movie was outstanding.

The 2018 remake was a great remake of the classic and traditional vibe of Halloween that fell just short of matching Halloween 1 and 2. Halloween KILLS doesn't attempt to try to match that vibe at all and is a modern day classic that reinvents things - while brilliantly setting the tone for the final act. The reviewers complain that it is all over the place but that is the point and it's done to perfection. This is a trilogy and you have to look at the big picture to truly understand it. I wish the ending had been done differently but there is no denying that this was a masterpiece for any true Halloween fan. This movie was savage - go watch it now!
